We had the good fortune of connecting with Sierra M. Adams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sierra, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always desired to be the owner of my own company since I was a child after being introduced to the business marketplace and owning my own mock clothing and food vendor business in elementary school.

Fast forward, the thought process behind starting my own consulting business evolved after working in the public sector over 10 years as a procurement officer and noticing how many small businesses and entrepreneurs were being turned down for government contracts because their business foundation was not properly set up and/or financially viable, especially minority businesses.

I realized at that moment it was a “Call to Duty” to innovate business models for businesses to improve. Therefore, this allowed me the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and educate aspiring and existing business owners on how to set up their business foundation the right way so that they can be in a better position to win!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Innovative Platinum Solutions, LLC. was established in 2016 to serve as a strategic resource and guide to help business owners large and small become profitable, legal, and competitive in today’s changing business climate. I, Sierra M. Adams, the company’s founder, founded it after noticing how many small companies were being turned down for government contracts because their businesses were not properly set up. However, we don’t just cater to our clients, we educate them!

As with any functioning business, obstacles are inevitable but only those who overcome their obstacles will have longevity. The use of personal and professional development has helped me as a business owner to increase my emotional intelligence and expand my mindset. However, I realized that in order to take the business to next level it required me to invest in opportunities that would improve the business operations such as branding, marketing, scaling, and ensuring that our company is financially viable.

I am most proud that I have been able to assist over 1k businesses both nationally and internationally with our services that we provide; in addition, to the results that our clients have accomplished and secured over 100k in business funding. We currently have a 95% return client-base.

Regardless of the industry, our goal is to be the business owner’s right hand by assisting them in the growth, operation, and long-term survival of a long-term enterprise. Every case benefit from our vast expertise and professionalism, and we tailor our assistance to your specific needs and concerns. We keep our focus on the new technology and techniques, and we’ve followed their evolution to direct our technical approaches all in the hopes of providing you with excellent guidance that will last for years.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta, Georgia is one of the hottest cities on the map to visit. There are so many options that a person could choose to eat, drink, visit, and hang out. However, my most favorite place I will start with is Chateau Elan because it is a beautiful and relaxing resort that allow you to escape from the world so you can immerse yourself in self-care. Toast on Lenox, Twisted with A Soul Cookhouse & Pours, and Breakfast At Barney’s are my top 3 restaurants that are highly recommended. Punch Bowl Social Atlanta is great place full of entertainment, food, and fun to enjoy. Painting with A Twist is a great place to hang out and enjoy great music and vibes while painting.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many inspiring individuals that I can list that has really contributed to motivating, supporting, loving, mentoring and encouraging me on my journey to success! First and foremost, I give all honor and glory to God for directing and leading me on this path to my success to be the torch. I am forever grateful for each and every person such as my family, friends, and mentors who provided exceptional advice, a listening ear for my ideas, and believing in me to achieve my personal and business goals.

In addition, I will like to highlight two-world renowned business leaders who impacted my life in a major way to refine and develop my skills personally and professionally. Shoutout to Tony A.
