Meet Sierra Joseph | Trader/ Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sierra Joseph and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sierra, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I think of starting a business. My first question is how can I create a thriving, yet fun business for myself and also for my collogues. Starting a business gives me an opportunity to not only show my creative side, it will mold me into the luxurious boss women that I truly want to be. Yes, it can be hardworking, however extremely fruitful, because I love pouring into others.

Being a business owner for me will allow me to change the traditional 9-5 schedule which means a lot to me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Forex Trader and also a Content Creator. I absolutely love trading and creating it challenges me in ways I wouldn’t have imagined. I am excited about how far I came with my trading and content creating. I use what I know about trading and stocks to create some of my social media content on Instagram. I have came up with a content series which is Market Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday check-ins. for my Luxe Family on Instagram.

Becoming a Forex Trader and Content Creator has been extremely challenging for me, I have cried many nights, and lost loads of money, but I believe God always and I mean always has a plan to get me through and he did. I am still not where I want to be with my trading, however I would not be here if it wasn’t for God, consistently and disciplined.

When it comes to me creating content, the most difficult thing is standing out. You tend to feel like you have to be like everybody else just to get seen it is exhausting. What I do to get through my content struggles is I breathe, meditate, pray, and regroup. I pride myself on focusing on become a great trader, so I can be the best mentor to somebody some day.

What I have learned from my challenges becoming a Trader and Content Creator is that everything is a test and you must trust yourself no matter what. You have to believe that what you want out of life is obtainable and trust that is for you.

I want the world to know about me and my story is I am just like everybody else, I deal with the similar hardships and challenges as everybody else does, but I am making a way for myself and my family. All I want to do is win for them.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I think I would take my bestfriend to the Shore for half of the week and New York City for the other half of the week. I choose the shore because it is all about relaxing, enjoying your family and friends, and soaking up the sun. So we would wake up, walk on the beach, meditate. For the afternoon, get drinks and lunch of coarse and walk around the boardwalk and have a mid day blunt. At night we would of coarse go play some boardwalk games, get on some rides, have drinks and dinner and end the night with a blunt, Netflixs and Chill.

For the other half we would of coarse be the Diddy’s of the City lol. Me and my bestfriend love to shop so the first stop would be Fifth Ave. After we go on 5th ave we would head to Magic Hour for the drinks, dinner and amazing view. To end the night we would walk around Times Square. The following day which would probably be a Saturday we would wake up go for a light jog, came back and pray and meditate on the rooftop of our hotel (despite the noisy city). We would grab breakfast at a local deli take a walk through Madison Square Garden too scroll and have our coffee or tea. After the morning festivities we will be taking a nap because luxe girls need a quality nap okur. In the afternoon we will wake up do our hair and makeup and head to lunch at RH Rooftop, then go to The Museum of Arts and Design, and for the night out head to Taj Lounge for good hookah, and music!

I would love to give a shoutout to my friend Asia also known as Dolly Roman. She is an amazing friend and content creator we feed off of each other a lot. Also, I would like to give a shoutout to After Work Firm and the owner Jennifer, she is my friend mentor. She has guided me through my trading and always believed in me no matter how hard things got thank you.
