We had the good fortune of connecting with Shunta Graham and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shunta, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
In life there are always choices. And to give up is the easiest choice to do of them all. Everyone can give up when it gets hard. But to keep going takes strength, courage, determination and a grind. When you have a grind, a determination and a calling. You will do whatever it takes to never give up and to keep pushing no matter what. Keep going even when it seems like nothing is working. Keep going even after all attempts are exhausted and it didn’t work out. Look at it as a lesson learned and keep going. Everything has it’s time and purpose so keep going. Do NOT give up.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a best selling author that is apart of a collaboration book called, “Blessed Not Broken: The Power of Transformation(Vol. 3). I created a daily affirmation segment on my social media called, “Affirmations With Shunnie Marie”. Where I give daily affirmations to encourage others to keep pushing and to never give up. I am the host of the Show Up. Manifest. And Grind podcast the will be launching October 5, 2022. I also have a calling in dance and singing. Wheeewwww! So many hats. Everything that God has called me to do and be a part of I am excited and proud of. It was not easy going up in the small city of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Being teased from a very young age up into adulthood about my size, clothes, hair and being molested at a very young age presented a challenge that took years to overcome. With prayer, church, singing and dancing, I was able to push through the hard times and still manage to keep my sanity. Going through all of these challenges birth a calling in me to encourage other through affirmations and words of wisdom. It pushed me into the forefront by no longer allowing me to keep quite but to let my voice be heard and to tell my story. I want to let the world know that regardless of life’s challenges that you have the power to change your life and to show up, to manifest and to grind for everything you want to happen for you!
