Meet Shonnie Alridge | Real Estate Broker, Investor, & Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shonnie Alridge and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shonnie, what’s your definition for success?
Being successful is a goal I work towards every day. There was a time in my life when I measured success solely on my income amount. That measure has since changed. Now I measure my success differently. After having a transparent conversation with my close friend I realized my measure of success was unfair. I’m in the real estate industry. Real estate is an interesting industry. It has its highs and lows. For me the lows would give me a feeling of defeat. That was a terrible feeling. My way of thinking was not serving me well at all. I knew I needed to change my measure of success.
Now my measure of success is simple. I feel accomplished and successful when I’m productive. I create a list of daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Each day I work towards those goals. I hold myself accountable when I check each completed goal. This has been such an eye opening experience.
I end my days feeling productive. It’s a wonderful feeling. I recommend business owners to try this.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Trinity First Realty Services, Inc is an 18 year old boutique Real Estate firm in Atlanta, Georgia. We offer our clients first class services. Our firm offers services in Residential sales and Commercial lease and sales. Our clientele is largely referrals based. This is particularly impressive because it demonstrates how confident our clients are in our dedicated services.
Over the years we’ve learned that ongoing real estate skill development and treating your clients as top priority is most important. Our agents are always investing in themselves. This is reflective of their high level of performance. We are proud of our 5 star Google reviews.
We are passionate about helping our clients accomplish their goals. It’s so rewarding to see a vision come to reality.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would visit Ponce City Market Place in Atlanta, Georgia. We would take a walk around Historical Stone Mountain park. We would visit The Mall of Georgia for some retail therapy. To relax we would visit Chateau Elon and drink wine, tour the winery.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am in business because of my mother Diane Colbert Alridge. She’s the founder of the company I currently own. She saw in me what I didn’t see in myself. She’s my mentor. The Empire Board of Realtist has also been instrumental in my business development. Being an active member and serving in executive positions has opened doors for me. I’m a better business owner and real estate broker because of the beautiful relationships I’ve built within the organization.
