We had the good fortune of connecting with ShonMarra Glover and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi ShonMarra, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The definition of success is “accomplishment or a purpose”. As a brand owner you determine your success. I had to learn that my success on completion is the success of my brand. I determine my success by my goals, I achieve in a certain time frame. An important factor of my success would be my ambition to never give up! Any completed task or project is a successful goal for me. Any reflection on the work that I have completed is a successful moment for me. I would say never let anyone or anyone else’s opinion determine my success. As an entrepreneur never compare your success to the next person’s success because you are on your own journey of success!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My brand is a lifestyle brand. Where I have services for everyone. My clothing brand are custom clothes, that are 1 of a kind. I sew, reconstruct, and teach sewing and vinyl placements classes. I have a beauty spa where I provide esthetician and hair services. I am also a content creator where I produce content for my brand and other brands. I mentor kids and children with mental health, autism, and behavior disorders.

I face so many challenges trying to make my brand a lifestyle brand. To ensure that I have services for everyone needs. My goal is to reach out to as many people as I can, to make a difference in their life. Giving the butterfly effect. I had to learn that patience is the key to life and success. TRUSTING the journey and having faith. Never giving up no matter how hard the journey gets, or the process takes. I use this phase “Living In A World Inside A World” which helps me and motivates me every day. the quote means that we are all living in our own little world. Nobody’s world is bigger or better and regardless of the trouble or pain we all as people experience. So be kind and spread love!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
