We had the good fortune of connecting with Shondale Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shondale, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
It’s hard to name the “most important factor” because I believe my success is the result of a number of factors – and they’re all tied together to play a part in my success. These factor include being focus, commitment, quality, consistency & going ABOVE and BEYOND in everyone you do. If I had to pick one it would be consistency. I had to get comfortable with being uncomfortable and knowing that GREAT things take time. My passion entrepreneurship runs deep for me. I continue to grow and learn in every aspect I can. With every opportunity I’m presented with, I soak up as much information I can.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our customer service and Top quality products is what sets us apart. I always make sure my clients & customers get the BEST experience.

I have always been a self-motivated, goal oriented, creative person who gets the job done under any circumstance. I’m the CEO of two amazing company.

In November 2019, I launched “For the Culture Buttons Collection LLC”. This business is a brand of good and services with an emphasis on designs from black perspectives. I started this business because she wants to show the beauty of Black Culture through her skills and creativity. It’s important to inform our generation and beyond about their history and culture. She enjoys spending her time creating them.

In January 2017, I launched “Clark Manager PR” and recently change the name to what is now call D&C Creative Services LLC. We are a Marketing & Social Media Company located in North Carolina. Our goal is to provide creative services counsel and strategic communications services, which enable our clients to build strong relationships, and to influence attitudes and behaviors in a complex world. The reason why I can attest for having a prosperous business is because I study successful business owners. I just believe in myself and trust the process.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live for adventures, and planning trips is another passion of mine. Here are a few activities I would do:

Spend a day in Miami

-Visit the Superblue Miami Museum.
-Roller Skate on ocean drive.
-Drive around Key Biscayne and stop at Crandon Park for a picnic.
-Go to Bayside market for food, drinks, and boat rides.
-Relax at Joia Beach for happy hour on the beach.
-Rent a slingshot and drive around the city.

And the list goes on…

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, I would like to give all praise to God for allowing me to get this far because without him I would not be where I am today. There are so many people that mentored and inspired me along the way, and continue to do so, but especially the strong women I grew up surrounded by. My grandmothers, my mom & aunties were all centered in my life. They taught me resilience and that’s necessary in business.

Shoutout to my wonderful business partner Francis Castillo, he’s my right hand man when it comes to business. We have a GREAT business relationship and work very well together.

Shoutout to Mrs. Charmeer Raindrop, she’s the newest person on our team. We are so trilled to work wit her and she a GREAT asset to the team.

Shoutout to Sofia Lopez for this amazing opportunity.

I do believe your network is your net worth. We need mentors at every stage of life and success. You really can’t be the expert in anything without being a student yourself and my friends pour into me daily.
