We had the good fortune of connecting with Shod Santiago and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shod, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
My balance has changed so much over time. It’s kind of weird. I’m at a space in life where meditating is apart of my daily schedule. I just try to be as much at peace as need be because Chileeeeee! Peace is so important to me. I’m truly a masterpiece that’s mastering peace! (Short and simple)

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I do a lot as far as being an artist. I currently have a movie out on peacock called “the eye” I’m honestly working from the bottom up when it comes to my acting career. It’s never easy when you’re trying something new but I’m trying to step out of my comfort zone in every way. I want the world to know that sweetie ; I’m not going anywhere, you’re always going to see me! I’m on your radar! Hiiiii!!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Chile, I’m not a damn tour guide! If my bestfriend was visiting the area , I would bring them to my house . LOL! I’m a homebody alll the way! My friends call me a bougie extrovert. I would cook, light up the hookah, do facials, talk about career goals, our dreams and gossip!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
One of my really good friends Rashae Barnes! I remember when she was a teacher and we would talk about her dreams and where she wanted to go career wise! She took a leap of faith and now she is flourishing as a publicist and I’m Beyond happy for her.
