Hi Shiquilla ‘Que, what principle do you value most?
one of my valuable principles i go by, is treat others how you want to be treated.

considering yourself as royalty while treating others as such, will lead you to finding who’s worthy of being in your kingdom.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a self taught female film maker. I began writing scripts for relaxation and after a few i decided to write one that i could finically film. the challenge by it being my first project i had a lot to learn about directing actors. we completed the mission and self distributed our first title SUBSTANCE ABUSE. It is now streaming on amazon prime, tubi tv, and more networks.

the thing about doing’ is the learning. mistakes will be made, things not always going according to plan, but something will work, it always do. knowing that it only get grander the further i go I just lean on God to Steer.
i have meet some incredible people who’s ready to get down and put in work. i’m so humble and blessed for that. the full season coming .. networks tap in “Substance Abuse” we coming.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If i had a friend visiting from out town, they would probably tell me all the new hot spots and scenes. food places? anything seafood . We’ll ride around the city to see the view after that, they would most likely tell me they will see me later and go out to the club. lol meet up in the morning and have breakfast and mimosas at one of my favorite spot The Breakfast Boys. good vibes and chill music will mostly be my way of welcoming friends from out of town.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
first and foremost I have to give thanks and praise to The Most High The Creator Of all, My God. the love and support from my better half, encouragement of family, and efforts and dedication from my cast and crew of film series Substance Abuse.

A book by the name of, The war of Art’ by Steven Pressfield I use as a tool for a great motivational push, along with podcasts and other great reads keep me going.
As creators we sometimes go into a depression stage (that can’t be noticed) so mediation is very important in this journey to me and just remembering all my Angels.
