We had the good fortune of connecting with Sheryl Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sheryl, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
What makes me happy is making others happy. It could be anything as simple as me telling one of my corny jokes to someone and they start laughing hysterically to the delighted smile and excitement on a customers face once they see the finished product of what i have created for them. It’s an awesome feeling to know that you made someone’s day and that you’re responsible for their smile.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a creative. I specialize in creating gifts for special occasions (e.g. birthday, wedding, baby shower etc). What sets me apart from others is my attention to detail. Im all about the small things, making sure everything is close to perfect as possible. I am most proud of the fact I can greatly satisfy my customer’s wants. I got to where I am today by putting myself and my work out there for the World to see. Was it easy? No not at first. I struggled with negative thoughts in the back of my head, like what if no one wants to buy my product or like my posts , or they say my prices are too high , but after pep talks from my friends I felt like I was ready to take over the world lol. What I want the world to know about me is I’m passionate about my work and my work is a reflection of me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting we would definitely have to hit up the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and dessert. We would stop by Olive Garden for a pitcher or two of their Green Apple Sangria. We would most definitely have to visit the Battery and check out some food places there as well. We’d hang out at Medieval Times and feast like they did back in the day. We would also visit Dave&Busters to play some games and eat because they have the best chicken tenders!!!! Lastly we’d catch us a movie at the theater with the comfy plush recliner seats.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My close friends and love ones , they know who they are, have really helped me along the way. They are super supportive, encouraging, and everything in between. I really appreciate them for pushing me and believing in me. It’s truly a blessing to have them supporting me.
