Meet Sherri Lester | Online Coffee and Mobile Coffee Bar owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sherri Lester and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sherri, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
Treat people like they are the most important client you have. They will feel most appreciated and recommend you to others based on that feeling.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We have our own Coffee brand, Carter & Cash Coffee & Saloon. We roast our own blends here in the great state of Georgia. People can order online, have the blends roasted fresh and shipped to their door. We also participate in private events by serving our delicious coffee or other beverages to those who hire our services. It is such a great feeling to not only hand someone a “pretty” cup of coffee, but one that tastes amazing as well. We are extremely proud of our brand. We have learned that the more you serve, the more you are given to serve. Serving someone a cup of coffee from a horse trailer may not seem like much, but we love to make it a fun atmosphere and experience in the couple of minutes we have with each customer.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I like to visit small businesses and give them my time and money. First of all, I will make my guests a yummy latte or cup of coffee from my own blends, but another day for a different perspective, We might start with coffee and a yummy light breakfast or lunch at a place called The Daily Grind. Hands down, the best place for dinner is a place in Canton called J Michael’s Prime. If my guest is a wine drinker, there is a winery in Taylorsville called Creekside that has a fun atmosphere and beautiful scenery and I love to go there as often as possible.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have a small but mighty team that backs me and helps me along the way. 1st is my husband. He took a 1964 Miley Horse Trailer and conformed it to the vision of a Mobile Coffee Bar that I wanted. He helps me with so many details. 2nd is my family, my kids and their spouses. They pitch in to help with the Bar when needed. 3rd is my brother who is my terrific graphic designer. Couldn’t have the amazing pics and social media without him. 4th and not least is my web designer. He has made me a fantastic website and fixes any issues that arise very quickly and efficiently.
