We had the good fortune of connecting with Sheila Lemon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sheila, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The products I used previously would cause allergic reactions to or put marks on my lips. So, I wanted to create all natural base cosmetics to eliminate the guess work when shopping. A completely organic product was my goal with no chemical reaction.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My products are all natural. I believe in quality over quantity. I provide hands on care and consider all my customers feedback. I am proud of myself for fulfilling one of my goals – to be an entrepreneur.

I’m excited to watch my business succeed. It can only go up from here!

Things were not simple. The beginning was challenging. You become discouraged. Remember why you are doing it and don’t give up! You have to stay consistent whether you have customer engagement or not.

Always remember: If you want it, you have to go get it. And keep moving forward no matter what.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Since I am from south Louisiana, food choices in Georgia are limited for me. Here are some of my hot spots: Mamas Pho is a great noodle restaurant, My favorite seafood restaurant is Juicy Crab, and IHOP is good for breakfast.

My family and I love site seeing. One of my favorites is traveling to the Blue Ridge Mountains. We also visit state parks. Watson Mill, Fort Yargo, and Tugaloo are the best in my opinion. Walks in the woods, jumping streams, fishing, and playing with family is the most relaxing thing you can possibly do.

For drinking, Suites Food Lounge is my go-to place. The staff is lovely and respectful. They look out for their customers and maintain a safe environment.

But, of course, nothing beats my home state when it comes to food, drinks, and wildlife. Gueax Louisiana!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Friend Shantalle Swift she works very hard for her business and she never gives up. She sells bundles and make’s wigs & more her business is called Posh Lavae. I think y’all should definitely check her out.
