We had the good fortune of connecting with Sheetal Story and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sheetal, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?

Spiritual advisors have been around for longer than organized religion. But somewhere along the way, we have received a bad rap.

We are often the support that people turn to when they are in grief or uncertainty.

A big part of the problem is that we are unregulated and many scam artists have turned to this profession to make fast money on the backs of vulnerable people.

But the truth is, there are many of us that are of integrity and have honed our skills with mentors to be a support in the dark corridors of grief and transition. We are actually very caring and our gifts are meant to help you navigate uncertainty.

As a Psychic Medium and Grief Support Counsellor, I am uniquely skilled to help people navigating the loss of a loved one, while still supporting with the ethics and tools that can help people experience support in some of the toughest times in their lives.

There actually are reputable Psychic Mediums that can support you if you are moving through a hard time, but it is important to know what to look for and ask around for referrals from people you trust to avoid being scammed.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

My business is diverse. I see clients weekly for readings, grief support and coaching. I also run classes to help people trust and strengthen their intuition and develop their special gifts, and then I also run groups for learning Astrology and healing.

I am so proud that I have developed my offerings to honour my need for variety and also my various gifts, so I can support people where they are at.

It was relatively easy, because I just followed my intuition, even when it didn’t make logical sense.

For example, I was finishing up my Astrology certification and then I got the nudge to take my Grief Support Counselling Certification. It didn’t make sense as to why I would need that, but in the end it became something that fills most of my schedule and I found so much fulfillment in. Grief changes your life, and I have a special set of skills to help people walking through grief that I can see now.

If we just allow ourselves to follow our interests, and explore these options, it can lead us down wonderful paths of purpose.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

No entrepreneur does this by themselves. We all need mentors and teachers along the way, and I have had many!

My meditation teacher that taught me a lot around philosophy and healing is Mandy Trapp. She created a wonderful space for us to learn and meet others that needed my gifts. She also gave me the opportunity to run my very first Intuition 101 class, which then went on to host 100’s of amazing people and support people coming back to their spirit.

My 2nd shoutout goes out to my mediumship mentor for the last 4 years, Andy Byng. Andy is the best medium I have ever met. His knowledge of the spirit world and the philosophy of mediumship has helped me immensely understand how my gifts work and how I can use them to support others in their healing.

My 3rd shoutout goes to the amazing woman that certified me in my Law of Attraction Coaching and my Masters in Coaching – Tanya Hrehirchuk. Tanya armed me with so many tools to help my clients, and her program was so thorough that I knew I was ready to be a coaching into the world with my gifts.

My 2nd last shoutout goes to my current coach, who helped me launch into my business full time in 2020. Selina Gray has been instrumental in my business growing and being incorporated. She has been the most supportive force in helping me going to the next level in every area of my life.

And finally the last shoutout goes to my amazing husband and family, who have supported me every step of the way. I have been chosen to walk a very unique path, and my husband certainly did not marry a medium, as I developed my gifts after we were married, but he has supported every twist and turn that has been presented to me. I could not do what I do without him. Love you so much Jason Story!

I feel so blessed to have been able to work with these people and so many more! My path has been paved for me by these amazing members of my soul family, and while I had to have the courage to walk it, I felt so confident because these people supported me in the hardest times.
