We had the good fortune of connecting with Shawn Alexis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shawn, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
To me you have to take risk or else you don’t progress in life it’s simple as that. Risks have been a major part of my life of my development as a person I take so many risk you could say i’m risk embodied. It’s been everything because my life has been about breaking conventional wisdom and basically all I do is take risk but that is how to live life as well to follow your intuition.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I consider myself art since I embody martial arts with my kung fu and movement of energies but when it comes to creative arts my main staple is my music I’m sound alchemist meaning I have the ability to use different sounds/frequencies and activate chakras (energy centers) within the body and I also produce house music. What I’m most excited about is continuing my path to self mastery and combine all these aspects of my art together and create something that’s never been done before. Curiosity, every time I want to do something I’ve never done before I use the power of the internet to figure it out and I was born with an insane dedication so when I find something I like I practice at it like a mad man. It wasn’t easy I came from a family where I was told to be realistic with my dreams so I couldn’t really grow how I wanted to but I never gave up on my dreams. My life has always come back to patience and so knowing when to let go and to not be in such a rush to achieve my goal because it’s already destined for me and I just need to enjoy the now moment of it. What I want the world to know is that if you can think it then through hearth work you can achieve that is the limitless mindset and this here is as real as it gets but’s it’s hilarious story.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a nature kinda guy and when I was in Turkey I was on the coast of the meditatrean sea on a spot Olympus I was staying at a lodge where they served buffet styled breakfast and diners everyday it was such a vibe you could visit abandon and ruined city’s and you could also go up the mountain where the medusa got her head cut off and on those mountains there’s fire pitts that never stop. The place is so peaceful that’s where I would bring a friend.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank everyone that’s been on my path and told me to not give up or gave me encouragement to pursue what I truly wanted there’s so many but in particular my dad, I’m not living how I want now if it’s not for your advice.
