We had the good fortune of connecting with Shavone Grayson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shavone, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When i was about 16 i started trying different stuff on my hair to help it. Different stuff to help my curls and even grow my hair. January 2020 my grandma passed away and that took a big tole on me cause she was my bestfriend. After that i thought life to short Shavone you gotta make a name for yourself. So i did i started making sample products of shampoo, conditioner and hair growth oil and just started passing them out everywhere so people could see my name and get a taste of what i have.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Starting my business was a little challenging because the market is so big. But for me i just try to be unique with my products and marketing skills to get me noticed. I also never give up no matter what. I always believe in myself and my business i believe consistency is key in running any business. If you don’t believe in it no one else will. My business will continue to grow in the hair market and I’m also starting to go more into the skin market: be on the look out for new things from me this year.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
If it wasn’t for my grandma and mom pushing me to be the best Shavone i can be i don’t know where i would be. They let me know i can do anything i want.
