We had the good fortune of connecting with Shaunea Audu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shaunea, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success—and the success of RENUMe Collection—is my faith in God and my commitment to walking in purpose. RENUMe was birthed out of a painful season in my life, but God turned that pain into purpose. Every product, every event, and every connection made through this brand is rooted in intention. I don’t just want to sell skincare—I want to serve people, help them feel renewed, and remind them that they matter.

My goal is to create more than just a product—I’m building a brand that inspires healing, joy, and confidence. Whether it’s through natural skincare, our interactive mixing classes, or words of encouragement, I stay focused on impact, not just income. Remaining true to my values, trusting God through every season, and staying consistent—even when it’s hard—has been the key to building something meaningful.

What should our readers know about your business?
RENUMe Collection is a faith-rooted natural skincare brand focused on healing, self-care, and community. We handcraft clean, high-quality products using natural oils and butters that nourish, restore, and renew the skin—inside and out. Our mission is to encourage people to slow down, care for themselves, and embrace healthier, more intentional routines. But what truly sets us apart is the heart behind the brand. RENUMe isn’t just about skincare—it’s about restoration, confidence, and creating space for people to feel renewed in every way.

Before launching the brand, I was working toward obtaining my Georgia real estate license while also balancing life as a wife and mom. Around that same time, my sister was tragically shot in the head. By God’s grace, she survived—and she inspires me every single day. That season was heavy, emotional, and full of uncertainty, but it also lit a fire in me to create something meaningful, something healing, something that would serve others.

Not long after, I was in service at my home church, Open Word Christian Ministries, when my pastor preached on renewing your mind. That message, paired with Romans 12:2, deeply resonated with me. That’s how the name “RENUMe” was born—and it’s remained the foundation of the brand ever since.

Has it been easy? Not at all. I’m not yet where I want to be, but I know God is lining things up in His perfect timing. I’ve had events that didn’t go the way I hoped, and moments when I questioned if I should keep going. But I stayed committed, leaned on my faith, and pushed through. After one slow event, I ended up booking a corporate opportunity that opened new doors—and reminded me that obedience brings reward.

What I’m most proud of is the impact. RENUMe has helped my children manage eczema, and it’s brought relief to many others—including a close friend, a breast cancer survivor, who shared that RENUMe was the only thing that soothed her skin during chemotherapy. Our in-person body butter mixing classes have also become a favorite—they give people a fun, creative, and educational space to unwind and care for themselves in a new way.

Our brand motto is: Love. Inspired. Natural. Beauty. Every product we make flows from those four values.

If there’s one thing I want people to know—it’s that RENUMe Collection was built on faith, birthed from resilience, and grounded in purpose. We’re not just selling products—we’re serving people and reminding them that renewal is always possible.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m both an in-the-house and outdoors kind of girl—I love a good balance! If my best friend came to visit, I’d plan a mix of nature, creativity, good food, and adventure. We’d kick things off with a scenic hike at one of Georgia’s beautiful waterfalls—Sweetwater Creek, Vickery Creek, or Tallulah Falls. For a little thrill, we’d go indoor skydiving, ATV riding at Foxhall, or horseback riding at Serenbe.

At home, my husband and I would cook for her—we love to host! One night, I’d plan something fun and hands-on like a body butter class, glass blowing session, or pottery making. I’m all about experiences that bring people together and allow for creativity and connection.

If we went out, we’d try a few of Atlanta’s standout restaurants and hidden gems—there’s no shortage of good food and good vibes here. The week would be full of laughter, adventure, and meaningful moments—just how I like it.
