Meet Shauna Stanley | Producer, Film Actress & Pageant Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shauna Stanley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shauna, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
Many people overlook the “business” aspect of the entertainment industry. Success requires strong time management, resource coordination, and effective leadership skills. Additionally, career skills and life lessons are both transferable—you can leverage everything in your toolbox to execute your vision and inspire others.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My versatility is what sets me apart. In addition to being a creative, I’m also a producer with a strong background in budgeting and cost management—skills that stem from my foundation in accounting. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, am an alum from the Joel A. Katz Music & Entertainment Business Program from Kennesaw State University, and am currently an MBA candidate at Louisiana State University, Shreveport.
Blending my business expertise with my creative pursuits allows me to approach productions from both an analytical and artistic perspective. I take pride in all of my accomplishments because they have shaped me into the woman I am today. You decide who you are and who you will become.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is the power of resilience. Rejection has never defined me—it has refined me. After every performance, I take a piece of it with me, using it to grow, improve, and become a better artist.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The BeltLine is one of my favorite spots for a walk—perfect for soaking in the city’s energy. If you’re in the mood for a great meal, Kevin Rathbun’s is the place to grab a top-notch steak, while Atlanta Fish Market is my go-to for incredible seafood and drinks. For an elegant Italian dining experience, Davio’s Italian Steakhouse never disappoints.
Ponce City Market has everything—you can easily spend an entire day there shopping, dining, and taking in the vibrant atmosphere. For a unique night out, Red Phone Booth offers a fun speakeasy experience that’s a must-visit in Atlanta.
If you’re looking for something more eclectic, Little Five Points is the place to be. With its mix of bars, thrift shops, and live entertainment, you can always find something exciting—including a show at one of the nearby theaters. And when I just want to relax and enjoy the best vibes, Brooklyn Tea is my favorite spot to unwind.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m beyond grateful for the unwavering support of my friends and family throughout the years! Huge thanks to Let Me Translate Productions for casting me in their latest film—what an incredible experience. And if you haven’t already, check out Stick Em Game on Tubi—one of the top action movies where I had the thrill of playing an influencer!
My heart is still full. A heartfelt shoutout to the phenomenal Kinnik Sky and my beautiful, soulful cast of Peace Be Still. Taking the stage with you at the Southwest Performing Arts Center on April 5th & 6th was more than just a performance—it was a reminder of why I do this. The energy, the purpose, the connection… it reaffirmed my passion in the most powerful way. I’m forever grateful for this unforgettable experience, and for each of you who poured your heart into it. Thank you for making this journey so meaningful.
And last, but certainly not least, a huge thank you to Tanice Smith, Tiffany Rivel, and the entire USOA organization for welcoming me as State Director with such warmth and open arms into this incredible pageant family. I’m so grateful to be part of a community that uplifts, inspires, and truly celebrates the beauty and strength in every woman. Let’s keep creating magic and unforgettable moments together! 🎬✨💖
