We had the good fortune of connecting with Shaniece Wauchope-Graham and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shaniece, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business wasn’t just a decision but a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. In 2016, I received a profound message from God encapsulated in the acronym VALUED: Victorious, Anointed and Appointed, Loved, Unique, Enough, and Destined for Greatness. Although unsure of its immediate application, I sensed its significance in uplifting women, especially young girls. Growing up in a fractured family, I grappled with low self-esteem and feelings of inadequacy, seeking validation in all the wrong places. Reflecting on how knowing my value could have altered my life’s trajectory, I was spurred to action.

This awakening fueled the inception of Valued Inspired Purposed Ministries, where our core mission is empowering Kingdom women with the knowledge of their inherent value in Christ, equipping them to transcend challenges and embrace their God-given purpose. Through various avenues such as books, inspirational speaking, purity and relationship coaching, book development and publishing services, and our affirmation clothing line “I am Valued Apparels,” we strive to ignite transformative change.

This endeavor transcends mere entrepreneurship; it’s a divine calling—a ministry. It’s about serving fellow women of faith, fostering a community where we can make a lasting impact and advance the Kingdom of God on earth. Through owning my company, I’ve found a unique avenue to not only manage my time but also to grow personally and fulfill my God-given purpose.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Valued Inspired Purposed Ministries is dedicated to empowering women in every season of life, particularly focusing on the journey of singlehood and purposeful living. God has revealed to us the importance of finding contentment and fulfillment in one’s season of singleness, understanding that it’s a crucial time for personal growth, spiritual development, and preparation for future assignments.

Our ministry is guided by the vision of raising up an army of empowered single women who are not only content in their season but also fully equipped to identify and fulfill their God-given purpose. We believe that by nurturing a deep relationship with God and embracing their identity as His beloved daughters, single women can prepare themselves for whatever lies ahead, including the ministry of marriage.

Through our multifaceted approach, we offer resources and support to help single women navigate their journey with confidence and purpose. From inspirational speaking and coaching to writing and publishing services, we empower women to discover their unique gifts, passions and calling. Our goal is to equip them to boldly chart their path to destiny, whether that includes marriage or other assignments, with clarity and intentionality.

At Valued Inspired Purposed Ministries, we are committed to not only helping single women thrive in their current season but also preparing them for the next chapter of their lives. We believe that by empowering women to embrace their singleness as a time of preparation and purpose, we can cultivate a generation of wives who are equipped to fulfill their calling and make a lasting impact on the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There’s a lot to enjoy in Fort Lauderdale, especially the beaches and cuisine. Here’s some of what my friend would enjoy:

Day 1: Beach day at Fort Lauderdale Beach, and dinner at Coconuts or Boatyard.
Day 2: Explore Las Olas Boulevard, and visit NSU Art Museum.
Day 3: Water sports at the beach.
Day 4: Day trip to Everglades National Park, and dinner at Rustic Inn Crabhouse.
Day 5: Visit Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, and explore Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District.
Day 6: Spa day, and dinner at Market 17.
Day 7: Brunch at YOLO.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, I must give glory to God, the One who called me to this journey. It wasn’t a path I envisioned for myself, but it’s the one He ordained, and I have no regrets.

Shoutout to my family, especially my husband, sister, and mom, whose support sustains me through every twist and turn. To my cherished friends, Donica, Chevell, and Tasharae who are my intercessors and accountability partners, thank you for being my pillars of strength.

Shoutout to my mentors, Cameka Ruth Taylor and Crystal Daye, for their guidance and encouragement, which have paved the way for me to step boldly into my purpose.

And shoutout to all my mentees and clients, you are the heartbeat of what I do. Your trust and willingness to allow me to be a part of your purpose journey humble me beyond words. Thank you for entrusting me with your dreams and aspirations.
