We had the good fortune of connecting with Shanice Renee’ and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shanice, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is faith, strength, and my daughter. I’ve hit many bumps in life while building and working to be successful. That helped to build my strength. While pushing myself over and beyond my limits, and staying focus. But still learning in the process as your brand grows and becomes bigger and bigger. Building a brand takes a lot of time, passion, focus, stress, and even days where you may want to give up. In those moments is when you want to be your strongest .

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a mother, a fashion model, and a business owner. Juggling all 3 it was never easy, but I got it done. Sleepless nights, early mornings, late nights, crying & praying nights, missing events, cutting back. I had to learned how to balance everything. Becoming a mother while finishing college, trying to pursue modeling, and working on a business plan. Had me at a place of I can’t do this. This is too much to handle. But, I’m very thankful for my mom, she was always their to help me continue believing and pushing myself no matter what. She would always tell me “it gets harder before it gets easier, don’t give up.’ Every challenge is a lesson, you determine if you’ll learn from it or let it take you down. I’ve learned and became stronger from everything that could’ve took me down. I’m proud of myself for not giving up on me. I’m excited about all the goals I’ve reached and to see everything I’ve done, its truly amazing. The business is growing, my modeling career is on a rise. I’m very thankful.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The Places I’ve tried and love here in Atlanta

The Hive Buckhead-a nice brunch spot, great food. A nice vibe
The Boiler Seafood Atlanta- I’m a seafood lover and this place is my favorite
Slush- has great drinks and food

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to thank my parents, siblings, daughter, and my friends. They truly are my biggest supporters. No matter what they’re always cheering me on and telling me to never give up. They’ve witness my growth. I wouldn’t trade them for anyone else. I’ve kept myself in one piece, but this village helped to make sure I’m standing straight with my head held high.
