Meet Shackisha Clark | Tax Professional & Life and Health Insurance Broker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shackisha Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shackisha, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My though process behind starting LTP is the fact that ther services that I provide, I realized I needed and I wasn’t made aware that they were available to me.
I also love to inform and educate others and being in Finances and living in today’s world People are curious about finances & insurance.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is a Tax preparation firm. We have also added life & health insurance coverage on our list of added services this year. What sets LTP apart from others is that we are committed to growth and expansion. We also educate our clients which is missing in alot of tax firms today. I got to where I am by taking initiative. I am always looking for ways to make things easier. This journey has not been easy. I overcame challenges by reminding myself of why I started and thought about who needed my services and personally the most. I’ve learned to never stop going no matter who you think is there for you not. Everyone even the most genuine people don’t need access to you.
I want the world to know to look out for LTP. We are here to serve & educate you.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta is always having festivals and activities outside, so I would first check to see what is happening in Atlanta outside such as Reggaefest, Igloo, Art Festivals, etc.
We would also go to Ponce City Market and plenty of restaurants around Atlanta such as Negril Village and Suite Food Lounge to enjoy good music & food.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank God for giving me the entrepreneurial spirit although there are tough lessons associated with this journey.
