We had the good fortune of connecting with Sha’ Cannon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sha’, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Work-life balance is always subjective. Work is work, but life can look different for different people. Life can also look different for the same person at different times. There were times when my priority for my life was centered around progressing financially by advancing in my career. At that time, my life was built around leadership in my association and my firm, as well as, being published in my field. Now I am a full-time entrepreneur and my life is focused on the freedom to have experiences like being in nature and live in other cultures. Even when I work, I can work remotely from the beach or a rooftop pool.

What should our readers know about your business?
Business consulting now takes a backseat in my company and getting in the trenches with my clients to execute is the new focus. Instead of just simply strategizing and giving our clients a plan of action, as a Fractional Chief Operating Officer to small business CEOS, I go into their business to procure, manage, and maximize the resources needed to execute the strategies. I love helping my clients move the needle forward on their business goals. A huge lesson I’ve learned along the way is that a big part of supporting small business CEO goals is reminding them to be life design focused so that they enjoy the business they are building. My story is that I love what I do and I do it from anywhere on the globe. I want the world to know that my brand is about supporting CEOs in having a business that grows wealth and a life that focuses on freedom as they define it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Visit: Piedmont Park and Atlanta Botanical Gardens for nature in the city. Fernbank for history and Battery Park for a sports experience. Eat: Slutty Vegan, Farm Burger, and Big Chow Grill are diverse but healthy options in different areas of town. Hang Out: Punch Bowl Social (dessert), High Note Rooftop Bar (happy hour), and The Painted Pin (adult bowling).

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have a group that are a family, entrepreneur mastermind, and cheerleaders rolled all in one. I call them my business besties: Tae Lee, Maleeka Hollaway, Toshiana Baker, Twanna Gill, Nishiskshi Chandler, and Tursha’ Hamilton.
