Meet Seth Wright | Entrepreneur and Brand Influencer/ Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Seth Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Seth, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I didn’t really see my Business starting to thrive until 2023. That’s when I realized that I really need to form an LLC.

I have two Businesses, one for Music and my Clothing Brand.
My business for Music is called Independent Gospel Rap.
It is a Platform
and Genre here to support All
Independent Gospel Rap Artists.
The Genre includes Gospel, Rap, Hip Hop, Drill, R&B and Pop.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Independent Gospel Rap was Founded in January 2018. It’s a Platform that wants to be here for All Independent Artists/ Indie Artists, bringing them together.

So since 2018, I just kept going!! Reaching out to Artists, curating Playlists and forming Mixtapes for different Artists, and YouTube! YouTube is where all the Music is at. My other 4 platforms are Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Spotify.

With me starting a Music Platform, and Company, I always thought I could use some merch! For the platform.

And yes for supporting Independent Gospel Rap, you can wear one of our Shirts/ Hoodies!!
It’s called G.O.D. And the G.O.D stands for God of Duty. Just like Call of Duty, the video game, we’re Representing and Supporting God of Duty.
It is our Duty, as a Man or Woman, to get done what we need to get done, to take care of our responsibilities. And for also scriptural points,
It says in Ecclesiastes 12:13 out of the Holy Bible to “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Alongside with me being a Brand Influencer and Founder of a Music Company and Clothing Brand, I am also a Graphic Designer!!! I make Album Covers/ Mixtape Covers for different Artists! I’m also a Playlist Curator and List organizer, organizing all of the Independent Gospel Rap Artists out there, and I’m pretty sure there’s plenty more who aren’t on the list yet, the List is continually adding!!

I got to where I am today by a gift, and using the right platforms, and iPhone apps to use my gift and work. It has not been easy, as I have not gotten word back from some Artists/ Platforms. But My encouragement to other Entrepreneurs and Graphic Designers is to keep going!!! Don’t worry about the people you’re not hearing from, or the support and the help that you would like to get, and REACH out to other people. Reach out to other Platforms. There HAS to be somebody out there for you that can help and show support.

What I have learned along the way is that you cannot be discouraged if you do not get a word back. In the mean time, REACH out to other people. Also be patient, some people are busy and don’t have the time as you would expect. Try hitting them up a second time!! They might respond.

What I want the world to know about me, the Brand and my story is that We Are On a Mission!! We are on a Mission to get our Success, your Success, help others and promote one another’s accomplishments!
Other Entrepreneurs need Support and people showing Love on their Websites/ Brands. We are also on a Mission for God, and a God of Duty. It is our Duty as a Man or Woman, to get done what we need to get done; to take care of our responsibilities.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite burger joint is in Midtown, Atlanta, it’s called The Vortex. One of the best burgers you can try. It’s real good. My favorite Chinese food place is called Mah Jong. It is in Snellville, Metro Atlanta.
I love to shop around and hang around Lenox Mall in Buckhead.
And for movies we can watch at a Tavern called Studio Movie Grill. Great place to watch movies and eat food.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My only Shoutout is God and a Battle Rapper!!! His name is Loso. Shoutout to Loso for wearing our God of Duty Hoodies!!!
