Meet Selena Lightfoot | Artist, model, entrepreneur, public speaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Selena Lightfoot and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Selena, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think about risk as taking a leap of faith.quitting my regular job last year in May to fully pursue my career, has played a big role in my life. It really made me recognize who I really am and who I want to truly become also a clarity on what I want to do in life..
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I was always told to not follow the crowd, and be yourself, especially growing up inside of a church, also it’s okay to be different and not apart of the crowd. I quit my job expecting myself to just focus on bitcoin but it turned me into becoming my own photographer and editor and becoming a songwriter and not just posting my 30 second rap videos on instagram it turned into me also recording my music and producing it myself . I’m proud that through all challenges, tears, doubt, and fears that I’m still standing and climbing my mountain to my dream, me creating my reality is my memoir, keeping faith in God is my key also and learning how to stand firm in the position I want to be in helps me overcome challenges if you want the things you desire elevate your consciousness that you are already in your position and you already have your wants and desires. at times it may not come easily but trusting in God and staying in his word is what will keep you going. You have to trust the process the plan is the plan, God has already written the plan you just have to follow it and keep faith that what you want will work out.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Right in the heart, downtown Atlanta. It’s more to see and learn about the city than we think, from the Museums, food places, shopping centers and etc. especially centennial park, my favorite place to visit as a child, I love seeing the water shows and just the view of the city. also the cola factory times changed but I really love going there my favorite part maybe like everyone else is the drink tasting. As far as eating anywhere with some good steak, wings, really American food. I’m always willing to go out to the city it’s growing more and more, and buildings are expanding. To me downtown Atlanta would never get to old for me Atlanta is always expanding there will always be a sight to see.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I thank God mostly putting God first is what has been keeping me, also my parents and family, for pushing me and believing in my dream.
