We had the good fortune of connecting with Sean ” DJ Sean Blu” Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sean ” DJ Sean Blu”, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I got tired of hearing No or You can’t and that inspired me to get my own and work harder. Sometimes you got to create your own lane when won’t allow you to be apart of theirs. God allowed me to create my own Company, create my own brand, my destiny, my own lane.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I’m a DJ, I love music. My love for music started when I was 10 yrs. old. I’m considered today as a ” Gospel DJ” I spin various genres of Gospel Music-Hip Hop, Dance Hall, Rythm & Praise (R&B), etc. Everything!! and also do various events-Weddings, private events, and I have worked in Radio as Mix DJ Old School /Urban AC Formats. I can play anything but I prefer various Gospel Genres and Old School music.

All Man its been quite a few but I’m excited that djing has taken me around the world a couple times and just receiving letters,emails from people that was Blessed and Inspired from my Mixtapes and Radio Show Mixes.

How I get where I am Today? lolol Alot of Heartache and disapponiments, Hard Work, my Faith. This is gonna probably going to sound cliche’ but If I can do it, You can do it! Its not me not believing in me, I’ve always believed in myself that’s ultimately been my driving force-If nobody clapped, encouraged me, sometimes with tears it was me and of course, My wife Denise has always telling me you gonna make it Babe! I learned to keep pushing and If you passionate about something DO IT! and let no one tell what you can’t do or it won’t work.

I want the world to Know I’m passionate about my craft- Loyal to the sport..Faithful to the Game, Love my Family, Love GOD.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
hmm.. Most of my besties are from my area or is familiar with the area with exception one or two where I live-Augusta, GA. I was a Army Brat so I’ve been all over but Augusta is the second largest Georgia City. Gas up the Whip (I’m an OG lolol) hang out, ride around the city show them how much things has changed, pull up in the old neighborhood, go out to eat or Cook out, chop it up about SOME old times lolol, Well, you gotta pull up on James Brown BLVD ( Augusta is the God Father Home Town) get some Pics along with his statue on Broad St. May decide go up East on I-20 or head up to Columbia,SC or up I-20 West to Atlanta or even roll down to Savannah. I’m a spontaneous fella so It can be whatever! as long as its legal lolol
