We had the good fortune of connecting with Sava Rilak and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sava, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
My single most important decision, besides choosing self-employment, was embracing my own way of working. We’re all unique, and I realized my perspective resonated with people. Instead of conforming to standard business practices, I incorporated my own style. This not only fueled my success, but also energized me. Competition pushed me to improve, but I climbed the ladder on my own terms.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Every new beginning faces obstacles, but my philosophy is: just do it! Overthinking paralyzes us. Coming to the US young taught me the value of every hour; you can’t wait for things to happen. My goal has always been simple: tomorrow must be better than today. This drove me to take small, consistent steps when I started my business. Over years, I built a supportive community that challenges me daily. I’m proud of my team, built on trust. That positive atmosphere radiates to our clients and beyond.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I have the most fun when I’m active. When people visit, we always spend a few days at the lake, followed by delicious food on Buford Highway. Lately, I’ve been loving Filipino cuisine; there’s a fantastic place called Kamayan that I highly recommend.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Growing up in a small European town, I always strived to be the best and different, no matter what I was doing. I’d research the top performers in any field that interested me and think, “I can do that, but even better.” That drive to excel and innovate is still with me today.
