We had the good fortune of connecting with Sashe Omogiate and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sashe, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
The most important decision I made in my life that contributed to my success was being intentional. I always was focused on leaving a legacy and building generational wealth for my family. However, when I consciously wrote out a plan to create the life I want that’s when I knew what needed to be changed. I needed to serve people with my gifts and talents in order to live a successful life doing the things I love. By helping others change their life I’m indirectly helping myself and generations to come.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We set ourselves apart is staying true to our mission while aiming to grow by being innovative, creative, flexible, and intelligent enough to adapt to the changes in our business environment. I’m most proud of the testimonials we receive from individuals on how we impacted their lives. I was able to accomplish so much thus far by being an avid reader. I’m always learning and consciously paying attention to why things are occurring. I have made many mistakes. However, understanding that between struggle and triumph is growth. I’ve learned that as a CEO we need to be willing to let go of control. I had to release all fears and surrender the need to control everything, especially when you have a reliable team. Also, I’ve learned to respond to life challenges more healthily. When I became more aware of self I witnessed change occurs in my life. The way I responded to life situations changed. I had to come to terms with what is or has been so that I can cope with it going forward, not doing the blame game or shame game. Also, take an attitude that you can learn healthy coping strategies to get through it. Connecting with others to receive help also helped me calm down. Also, being grateful for what I have in life and what I have achieved. Embrace what is. Being a woman who has battled with depression, anxiety for years, I learned the skills needed to move beyond the disabling power of my mental illness and create the life I want. I strongly believe that confession is very helpful for people who are carrying the burden of pain. I was able to release my pain and heal by serving others with my life story, gifts, and talents.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We will shop at Phipps Plaza Mall and find a nice restaurant in Buckhead shops. I would take them downtown by Cenntianal Park for dinner. The night lights are beautiful scenery. Other nights hang out at Painted Pin or The Painted Pin bowling alley, APT 4B Restaurant enjoy tasty food, good music, cine bistro elegant atmosphere to catch a movie.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m where I am in life right now because of the individuals who witness anointing over my life that I wasn’t able to see. There are so many people that have impacted my life journey to waking in my purpose. I’m a strong believer that there’s an appointed time for everything. So those who have donated to my organization, and shared knowledge, partnered with me, hired my company, referred my services to others, etc. I thank you for trusting in me and allowing me to serve you!
