We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarai The Artist and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sarai, what is the most important factor behind your success?
As an independent artist the most important factor behind my success so far has been persistence. Non-stop grinding and improvement. It takes money, time, effort, a team and a solid plan! Without my fans/supporters I’m nothing, they have been the highlight of my career. Keeping the faith and putting actions behind my vision has been AMAZING. I’m in a good spot right now and on the path to creating massive opportunities for me and my team.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a rapper, singer and songwriter I’m most proud of sticking to my authenticity and being unlike any artist I’ve heard thus far, It’s so important for me to remain in my lane and continue to thrive in it. I’m most excited about my newest single “bag” that recently released under Face off ENT, which is the label I’m apart of. I am so grateful for the growth I’ve experienced and what comes with this journey. It was definitely not easy getting to where I am today. It took a lot of patience, time, self-love and belief in my craft to even begin. The biggest lesson that I’ve learned along the way is to never stop chasing my dreams, believe in yourself and without action nothing moves. Aside from being a part of Face off ENT, my personal brand is called “Good Vibes Only”. This brand deeply connects to my personal story of always remaining positive, being an advocate for self improvement and vibrating on a high level at all times.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would start off with brunch at Breakfast at Barney’s and from there, visit Ponce City Market which is a whole vibe in itself. It essentially has everything you need to have a good time, from drinks to a myriad of food choices and is a great spot to people watch. We would definitely visit a few museum, the aquarium and hit the drive in movies for some classic nostalgia. Some of the most fun and interesting places to check out are places where you can learn and have fun at the same time. Atlanta in itself is a melting pot of different people from around the world, so you’re destined to have a good time anywhere you go.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My big brother Great Wu definitely deserves some recognition in my story. As my brother and CEO of the label I’m a part of, Face off ENT ,he has given me some priceless parts of the game that it takes new artists years to grasp. He was a part of the rap group Southern Kaos and at one point signed to a major label. You can’t put a dollar amount on type of guidance and game I’ve received. Blessed is an understatement.
