Hi Sanya!, what makes you happy? Why?
Knowing that I am able to create something that somehow inspires others makes me happy. It lets me know that I’m doing something that is right. Making music and creating art is something that I enjoy. It isn’t something that I’m doing to make a quick buck and I think that’s what makes it pure.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As an artist I create when I’m not realizing it. I do it for the love of the Art and the music. I enjoy making music so much. I wasn’t making music for the world to hear at first. I was creating for the fun of it. But when I started putting out music it was the support that kept me going. It started from me just making music in my room to going to an actual studio to perfect my craft. It became my lifestyle, it keeps me busy. Doing something that I love isn’t a challenge for me. Along the way there were a lot of doubt and distractions but that taught me that it’s okay to take a step back and take a look at things. To see how things are going. And get right back on track because that’s what matters.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I think a persons environment play a huge/ important role for a person. For me growing up in Brooklyn made me the person I am today. But it was more of how I used my environment as a beneficial source. The people I looked up to were people that were in the industry like Spike Lee. Watching movies before my times like “Do the right thing”. Being introduced to so many different artists at a young age due to mentors. It became to the point where I was just doing what I enjoyed.
