We had the good fortune of connecting with Sandi Khonouta and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sandi, what matters most to you?
The value and principle that means most to me are my passion and pride in the work that I do to make other women feel more confident and empowered, both internally and externally.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a lash artist I am creating beauty and enhancing your looks. What sets me apart from others is late night lash services- providing the convenience, availability and even being cost friendly. I understand how tough it is with a busy schedule and a budget for your lashes. It typically takes longer than an hour and a good lash artist, such as myself, will be attentive to your needs as soon as you walk in. I take my time to ensure my clients are well relaxed and comfortable during the entire lashing process. I feel the joyfulness of my clients expression as they look in the mirror. To get to where I am today, I made sacrifices and overcame my fear in opening up my own business. It was definitely not easy but I knew the risk, the time and patience I had to put in. My determination of seeing my bigger picture pushes me through any obstacle and challenges. Through my entire journey, I’ve learned to be patient! I want the world to know I am my own brand. I want to be known for late night lash services with the convenience and availability to fit everyone’s lifestyle. It’s a judge free zone as soon as you enter my lash studio. I want my clients leaving happy and more confident in themselves without feeling like they spent a lot of money. It’s BEAUTY without ‘breaking the bank’.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s time to have fun in the city! Atlanta is becoming known as a foodie spot. There’s a ton of different places to eat. The first place we will visit is Ponce City Market. They offer different boutiques, restaurants, a winery, and even a rooftop to enjoy the skyline view with a frozen rose. We will then take a walk on the beltline and admire all the different scenery Atlanta has to offer us. I’ll even be your photographer as you strike a pose in front of the graffiti walls along the walk. To capture our memory together, I’d take us to places you can enjoy with beautiful sceneries such as the Botanical Garden, the waterfalls in Roswell, and Chateau Elan. We can even take a hike up the Tallulah Falls to get our exercise in. My best friend and I are foodies and love to try different cuisines. Brunch spots are our most favorites so I would take her to places like Blue Martini, The Hive, Toast on Lennox and The Select. To end our nights, we would go to places with a nice rooftop view to soak in Atlanta. I’ll take her to Drawbar, Hotel Clermont, and Reverb. It’s all about great vibes, energy, good food/drink and a great view!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shoutout my amazing family and friends for the love and support. I’d like to shoutout my cousin, Melody, for being there as my backbone and mentor. She has guided me along the ways of becoming an entrepreneur and encouraging me to build my lash business.
