We had the good fortune of connecting with Samya Houessou and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Samya, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have honestly been an entrepreneur for as long as I can remember. I started my first official business in seventh grade selling T-shirts and I’ve tried so many different ideas and industries since. When I decided to get into real estate, I felt as though the industry fit me perfectly. I’ve always been good at business no matter what I was selling and a couple years ago I took a strong interest into real estate and the process and benefits of investing into properties. After years of thinking and studying real estate, I have finally created a brand offers me the advantages of entrepreneurship, while pursing an industry I’m truly interested in.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Currently, I am a licensed real estate agent, but my business basically helps other young adults get started in the real estate industry. I offer study material, courses and events that help guide my clients/customer through the national exam, investing in properties, etc.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite sport right now is Your 3rd Spot. I’m very active and I like places where I can really be interactive and enjoy myself .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mentor Brianna J (@briannajrealtor) ! Getting into real estate, I met her slightly before preparing to take my national exam and she sent me so much study material and study guides to help me . She also helped me prepare my marketing materials and guided me through the next steps in my real estate career.
