Hi Samone, what role has risk played in your life or career?

The Box would NOT be here if I had not taken risks! When I hear the word risk I instantly cringe because I’m a tried & true type of individual so just stepping out faith & opening The Box was a risk to me. I never started a business before, I didn’t know everything (and still dont) but I have a vision &  started with a plan. You have to consider the possible risks involved but don’t let them scare you out of your dreams! Your dreams are with the risk!

Consider the risks & the advantages. Create your plan so the advantages outweighs the risk. You have to be comfortable starting your business & standing on it untill it becomes successful.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Www.TheBoxBySwank.com is an Online Store that features the Hottest collection of underrated designers, artists & products. We currently offer a variety of men’s & women’s clothing from brands like Exclusive Taste, Filthy Rich, Under Dog Gang, We Eating and more.

All brands partnered with The Box represent a movement of higher class standards & success! In today’s world It is imperative to set goals & have high class standards while striving for success! We believe in being responsible, being honest & that we are the best!

We are excited as we enter the planning phase to incorporate community events and health & beauty products to give a better shopping experience at The Box for 2023!

Lastly, The Box now has a FREE pick up location in Jonesboro,GA. Everything online is available for pick up Jonesboro, GA!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Hanging with Swank everyone knows we gotta eat first lol

Ima a foodie so we going to call Metrah for a breakfast pan to get our day started. Creations by Metrah has chicken & waffles, a bomb egg scramble with French toast or shrimp & grits. Can’t go wrong with Either of them. Here we can get breakfast. Lunch or dinner.

I’ll be sure to have our hair appointments set with Sheree Gibson, Chrissy’s Korner, Mickey J or Chris Mike.

Lashes would be by Yani Richmon with Blaisan Minks or by Goddess Blinks with Alexandria Hughes

Tamia with Hands by Hendrixx or Tiffany Suggs on the nails.

I do my make up pretty well but if we wanted to go for glam make up look or something besides the basics I’d call Clara Rayford with FlawlessBeats or Linda Forbes.

I’m big on supporting my local small businesses! So… depending on the weekend we can catch a event hosted by Mike “Pooky” Brown or a party djed by Keevin khaaliq

It would be a beautiful site to attend a paint n sip or girls night hosted by Alicia Graham with Class A Standard or we could catch a boat cruise housed by Gerrard Cooper.

In our downtime volunteer or attend a community event sponsored by Get More Out Of Life (Getmool.org) to give back to the community

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

Biggest shout out to God 1st! God, my pastor Timothy Bailey of Living Purpose Church Aurora, IL & my handful of spiritual advisors that keep me going!

All my fallen heroes! My dad, RV Folmar was always my biggest supporter in life! My granny Eva Suggs, Mister, Pdubb & a host of others in heaven watching over me that keep me going on a daily basis.

My mom, brother, sister & my kid ziah is who I look to make proud!

My mom, Shyra, Nesha, Bates, Shamika, Shay, Chrissy K, Tamia, Metrah, Gaby & BH is my circle. They all play a part in me some way some how. These are the people that hear me when needed. They listen to me complain about everything and fix it!

I stay crying to Shyra, Nesha, Chrissy & Gaby about something lol

Bates, Chrissy & Metrah my go for business ideas/plans and Tamia & gabby always go be there to help me pick up the pieces & assist me when needed.

Lastly my city Aurora, IL! Shout out to everyone that rocks with The Box By Swank! Love & appreciate yall since day 1!
