Meet Sahaii Delfosse-Ingleton | Creative Artist and Jewelry Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sahaii Delfosse-Ingleton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sahaii, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Believe me when I tell you this was Divine guidance from the Universe. I never had any plans on starting a business! So here’s the story! I went through a really bad time emotionally in my life and I was trying to heal from it. I didn’t know where to start or even how to begin healing. I started delving into spirituality. I read books, LOTS of books on EVERYTHING I could find about our reason and purpose in this world, our soul’s journey, Crystals, Numerology; I mean I read EVERYTHING! I started meditating a lot and using and wearing Crystals. I started taping into a part of myself that I didn’t know existed. I was truly beginning to start this journey of mastering my journey back to Self; my higher consciousness. Fast-forward a year and a friend and I went to visit a store in Fort Lauderdale, FL and the owner had a waist bead making class and I was intrigued. I have always wanted to wear them but was just so self-conscious about my weight and thought that I could never wear them. I decided to do the class and I created my first waist-bead. When I tied them on me, I felt this energetic shift that could only be described as awakening to self-love, an immense feeling of peace and contentment and in that moment I realized my purpose. I started making waist beads at work during my lunch break. The act of threading each bead by hand was my meditation, it was my calm and my comfort. My coworkers started noticing my work and asked if I could create for them and asked me how much would I charge. This was when Divine Feminine Goddess Beads was birthed, in 2019. The year 2019 holds the energy of the number 3. 3 is the number of creativity. I then decided that I needed to understand how making waist beads could be used for them on their healing journey, and in meditation, I asked for guidance. I needed to see how my work could be different and truly unique to the individual wearing them, and the guidance I received was to use Numerology, specifically the energy of the individual’s Life Path Number. I started experimenting with other pieces of jewelry and I now create bracelets for Men, Women and Children, anklets, thigh beads, and necklaces. Each piece that I create is spiritually crafted with the energy of the individual’s Life Path Number. This is my purpose. I know it and have accepted it. My purpose is that my jewelry will bring healing, self-love, balance, empowerment and purpose to people who wear it. My goal is to help people discover their true path; the path that will bring them the most fulfillment in their life’s journey. I only ask that the wearer be open to the support that they need to receive in any area of their lives that needs the most nurturing by setting intentions and awakening to their true Divine purpose.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I create jewelry, specifically waist beads, anklets, thigh beads, necklaces and bracelets using glass beads and Crystal beads. All the pieces I create are spiritually crafted with the individual’s Life Path Number. The jewelry I create are not only beautiful, but meaningful. I want people to heal, I want people to love themselves unconditionally and I want people to find and understand what their true purpose is. Most of my customers are people who are looking for guidance on their journey, and my jewelry is just another tool to help them on their journey of self-discovery and coming back to Self. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, and that there are no coincidences, and once you truly release control and allow yourself to be guided by your Higher Self or Ancient Self, then anything we choose to pursue in life, as long as it’s in alignment with your purpose, could never be a struggle. If you’re walking in your Divine purpose, then there will never be challenges. Don’t get me wrong, there will be lessons, but lessons are important for growth, and understanding the lessons can only help you become a master on your journey. I have faced many lessons on this journey. I had to figure out how to run a business, I had to learn through trial and error the best materials to use to create quality jewelry, and I’m grateful for every lesson because it has only made me a better person and business woman.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m pretty new to Atlanta; I moved here right before the Pandemic, so I haven’t had the chance to explore as much as I would have wanted to but these are the places where I have been and truly enjoyed and would for sure take my best friend! Tabla is by far one of my favorite restaurants in the city! I love Indian food and some friends of mine took me there to celebrate my birthday. THE BEST INDIAN FOOD EVER! I would have to take them to the birth home of Dr. Martin Luther King. Atlanta is filled with so much history and it’s so important for us to learn and understand this history and how it’s impacted this country. We would definitely have to do a picnic or walk the trails in Paces Mill Park in Cobb County. There’s nothing more relaxing and peaceful than being surrounded by water and nature, and for sure Little Five Points because they are going to have to leave here with a Crystal or two from Crystal Blue! I love the vintage shops and restaurants on that strip too! I mean it’s Atlanta’s Hippie Hood!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have a soul tribe and they know who they are; way too many to name, but I have to give a shoutout to these people specifically. Tamara Gammon for her business mentorship and guidance, Genesis Ettienne for being one of my biggest supporters and my Muse. Keisha-Ann Savage for being the vessel Spirit used to take me to that waist bead making class, to my Lucky 7s who have always encouraged me and supported me on my journey, and to anyone who has every supported my business in any way, I am grateful.
