We had the good fortune of connecting with Sacred and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sacred, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I started Making Waist Beads it started from a place of healing and evolving. My daughter was just diagnosed with Leukemia and I was lost and needed some form of guidance. I took a liking into them and started my research and it was the beginning of the waisted by sacred brand

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My Luxury Waist Beads and Body Adornments are custom made to help each person heal. There is no two waist beads that are the exact same. Each piece is handmade. Within the last 3years of business I’ve had 10 confirmed pregnancy from my fertility waist beads. My waist beads has been places my feet have yet to grace.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
To me in Atlanta I would forever recommend eating at milk and honey followed by an amazing nature walk to view the waterfalls here. Or even explore some of the locations to go mining for our own crystals to heal with.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to dedicate this to my Daughter MaKenzie Brooklynn Simone. She the reason I learned about them and she’s the reason I continue to make them. They’ve helped her become the amazing little girl she is. She is the reason why I make intention based products for children to motivate them to be their best selves.
