We had the good fortune of connecting with Saadia & Nathaniel Griffin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Saadia & Nathaniel, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
You never know you just have to remain motivated and push yourself daily. Giving up is not a option in our book or even in our language. We always tell people it’s no such thing as giving up when life throw lemons at you , you make lemonade you always try to beat the odds or what they label you to be. Life is what you make it . Your dreams should be unlimited pass the stars and the universal go as far as you can. We always feel as we can do anything we want in life which is something we go by and believe in daily. The main key to succeding is never give up.

What should our readers know about your business?
G Styles Hair Collection was started to make women all around the world feel beautiful about themselves , which they are beautiful despite the hair but to unlock their inter selves. Me and Nathaniel went into the hair business with the mindset of wanting the world to know about G Styles Hair Collection that’s why we say global because that is our goal to be global. Your dreams are unlimited and that’s how we look at things in life you can do anything you put your mind to. When we first started we started out with a total of 6 lace frontal wigs in January of 2020. We didn’t land our first sell until the middle of Febuary , and after that we still didn’t get sales we never lost faith or gave up we knew it wouldn’ t be easy to just build something in one day or one month. We always stayed motivated no matter what. In March of 2020 we started to land customers and started building our brand day by day I still worked a day job to keep income coming in and nathaniel would be out promoting trying land us even more customers. As the months in 2020 started to progess we began to get busy and busier daily . Like it was a spike in customers we were making anywhere between 1.500-3,000 a day and one day in mid September 2020 my husband told me to leave my day job so that we could put more energy into Gstyles. That’s what we did we set out to get more customers , branding , promotion, etc. It wasn’t a easy journey starting a business but once it began to build it gets better and you began to grow passionate for it and treat it like your child. Challenges doesn’t just stop when you are successful in business it will always be challenges you just have to be ready to face them. We wake up daily and make sure the 24 hours we have in a day we make each hour count , even if its marketing , promotion we are doing something to get the business out their daily. For us the lessons we learned not everyone will be happy for your success and not everyone will support you but even if you don’t get one supporter you never give up you keep going until the world knows about your business. We want the world to know that G Styles Hair Collection is a Black Owned Business and we have came so far and we are not done until we are global. We are very grateful as well as humble and will remain. To any upcoming business onwers , success is the key and even then don’t stop their go as far as your mind takes you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We like to go bowling , we love trying different restuarants if it something we have never heard of we will try it. We are sort of adventurous people we love to travel every chance we get. New Orleans is like our favorite city to visit because of the music , the dancing , the scenry it’s all nice. We never know what pur itinerary be if it’s something we want to do and it looks fun we will do it.

We would like to shoutout to us as business owners . ” Believing in what we wanted to do and making it happen, we have came a long way and it is not a easy road to success but the motivation and the drive behind it will be worth the success and becoming the biggest to ever do it.
