We had the good fortune of connecting with Ryan Constantine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ryan, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
I don’t really think I have a “end goal” I want to be a photographer as long as a possible. As long as I can make a livable career off of doing what I love then I’ll be happy

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets me apart from others is how I try and combine lifestyle & hip hop photography together. I’d say I’m most proud about my first photo exhibit which was earlier this year in February. I got to where I’m at today by just meeting the right people, being in the right place at the right time & just never giving up. It definitely wasn’t easy. I’ve learned to never let anyone get in your head & tell you that you can’t do something. Always follow your heart!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Honestly I don’t really go out in the city like haha but I’d take them to ponce city market or the high museum.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like the shoutout cam Kirk for bringing me in and letting me intern at the studio & also Swavay for letting me capture his journey this year
