We had the good fortune of connecting with Ryan Briskey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ryan, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to work for myself and not continue on making someone else rich. I wanted to apply my skills to create me a business that I know can stand out from other businesses, also when my kids become adults I want them to not work for someone else. I want them to continue to build wealth within the business I created.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
With the prayer and guidance and taking a leap of faith is one of the ways I’ve created my cleaning services. As my journey began the road wasn’t East by far. Everything was trail an error for, because when you no nothing mistakes are bound to happen. As my journey was in the process it was hard to get people share how they started there business, so of course you tube and joining a lot of Facebook Business Groups. As, I was soaking in the information I was receiving I made sure I was writing it down and when I started my next business I would know exactly what to do. As for 2 Hands Cleaning Pro’s my company customer service is the best along with the great quality of cleaning. I take my job serious an I love what I do and I love for the customers to see the quality of work that was exemplified within there home. I also create my own paste that break downs dirt within your shower or tub area, this product has been a great game changer for my business. Within this journey I am on I’ve learnt that in order to create a successful business it requires blood, sweat, and a lot of tears. You can’t just sit still and expect for business to come to you, it’s a requirement that you go out an let people know who your are. Yes! People are going to turn you down, Yes people will talk about you. Don’t allow that to stop you just remember what your goal an dreams are and keep pushing and don’t look back. I am a witness that it will pay off.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oh my! I’m kinda boring lol, because I’m always thinking of ways to grow my business or other places I can establish business credit. Ummmmm… I think we would go to Riverside Park an go canoeing, we will play volleyball then grab something to eat at North River Tavern. Another day we would eat at Juicy Crab an go to White Waters. The other days we will try Rays, Sweat Auburn Sea Food, Sweat Georgia Juke Joint, Slutty Vegan, Martins Restaurant for breakfast.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mother (Cassandra). As a child she sacrifice a lot with raising me. She work two jobs to provide for me and not complain. The strength she showed throughout the years is unexplainable while juggling her two jobs. Being a single mother I know it wasn’t easy, looking back she made it look easy. As I got older I always told her that I would take care of her an not allow her to work because she has put enough wear an tear on her body doing the job that she loved (CNA). I think all kids should take care of there parents in some kind of way.
