Meet Ryan Anthani | Owner/Operator of STIR Cocktails & Pours

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ryan Anthani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ryan, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve been in the bartending industry for 10+ years. It’s probably hard to believe, but I started out in the restaurant industry as a Busser, lol. Cleaning tables, picking up plates, sweeping, etc. I worked my way up from then, a host, to server, to Bartender so I’ve seen many sides of the restaurant industry. From there, I began bartending through college, and there after.

It wasn’t until last year when I bartend for a friends event, that I realized this is something I really enjoy doing. I’ve always bartend a family/friends private event on the side. The energy & reciprocation was unmatched. The responses, feedback, and vibe made me feel overjoyed, knowing I played a major part In the time had by my patrons!

Ive built my brand on culture & class. I want to bring diverse groups together creating timeless memories & energy through great cocktails, tasty eats, art , and dance. STIR encompasses all of these on one platform.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I am most proud of allowing myself to get this far. Staying true to god’s timing & purpose, and trusting the process. I am excited to see how much we continue to grow as we work diligently and strategically to promote, host, and get our name out to the masses.

Staying consistent got me where I am today. Being open to trying & failure, finding my way & my niche. I’ve learned along the way to never limit yourself to one thing/talent/job., etc. Explore yourself, your heights, your limitations. Just because you started off one way or with one thing, doesn’t mean that’s all you are.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to the hidden gems around the city! I am not a fan of tourist attractions, but wanting to be apart of how citizens really live. Showing the best parts to worst.

I am one of nature and classy outings such as hiking, horseback riding, candle making, wine tasting, museums, shopping in the finest boutiques and eats at the cutest little spots.

There are never ending activities in the city, whatever you’re feeling, we’ve got the vibe for it!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this to my partner Maurice for always pushing & supporting my goals and my beautiful daughter Raiya who gave me a “WHY” and motivation to continue building my brand.
