Hi Russell, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
The ability to take risks is extremely important to success. As my mom says, “Boy you jumped out the window with no parachute!” Some risks have to be more calculated than others to minimize loss but some are just the roll of the dice and hope for the best. It may end up in failure but there is a lesson to learn in every attempt. I have taken losses, big losses, but I equate each one to the cost it took to gain knowledge; similar to paying for school. As they say, “scared money don’t make money.” This statement is true in so many ways because every success started with someone taking a risk and believing in themselves. You have a 50/50 chance at winning with a guaranteed failure if you don’t take the risk, so take the shot. Every movie we create is a risk involving time and money but the more we build as a company, we decrease the risk due to streamlining of our business. However, if we wouldn’t have taken the initial chance and faced the fear, we would not have know that our dreams are capable of coming true.

Mann Robinson Studios is a film company specializing in full feature films. We also have a film studio located in Atlanta for production. Mann Robinson Studios believes in impacting the culture positively through philanthropy, film, professionalism, value, and creating opportunities for others. We arrived here presently by staying diligent and resilient in the pursuit of building a successful business. In an evolving entertainment industry that has not always been welcoming to minorities, Mann Robinson Studios has established itself as an exceptional film company.
