Hi Rojican, what role has risk played in your life or career?
If you don’t take risks and allow yourself to be uncomfortable at times, then I feel as if you don’t give yourself room to grow at all. Growing isn’t always this miraculous journey… sort of like when a baby starts to grow teeth. It hurts and it’s frustrating, but it’s necessary to get to the goods. It’s the same with risks. You may not have the best experiences along the way, but they will be necessary and lead you to a better place along your journey.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Caresentials LLC is a brand that represents not only myself but everyone else as well. It is built on the mission to provide high quality natural products that are safe for people and the environment. However, the thing that sets my business apart from others is that it’s foundation was built on “Care”. Everything I’ve done for my business is based on what other people cared most about. The types of skincare or haircare obstacles people are facing today are top priority. It has not been easy to push my brand because there are many others with great products. I always remind myself that they are not my brand and they won’t provide service or products the same way that I do. I had to learn that just because someone else already does something doesn’t mean that I can’t do it in my own way and have a totally different experience. I’m still learning. I definitely don’t have everything figured out, but since I’ve been in Georgia I’m very hopeful as I network and meet other business owners just like me.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is a hard question for me. I haven’t experienced much. I’ve lived in Georgia for about 7 months now, but I didn’t actually settle in until October. When I want to have fun I look on EventBrite or Google fun places to check out. I get alot of attention from modeling, so I do get invited to all sorts of places (mostly restaurants & parties).

There’s a little restaurant in Columbus that I like. It’s called Mark’s. It’s my brother’s name and they serve one of my favorites. It’s like firecracker shrimp but they add almonds. It’s really good!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d have to give a shout-out to my loyal customers and supporters. To all the people who have been here throughout my journey.. I appreciate it! You all watched me go from one product to 10 plus! You all watched me transform my entire business and brand into what it is now and I hope to have continued support and more! Thank you so much!
