We had the good fortune of connecting with Rodolfo Delgado and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rodolfo, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The principle that resonates with me the most is transparency. In a world saturated with information and yet plagued by misinformation, transparency stands out as a beacon of trust and authenticity. Whether in personal relationships, business dealings, or the digital content we consume daily, the value of transparency is immutable. It builds trust, fosters clear communication, and creates an environment where creativity and innovation can flourish. As the CEO of Replay Listings, a platform dedicated to revolutionizing real estate through honest and transparent listings, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of transparency. It not only empowers consumers to make informed decisions but also challenges industries to elevate their standards and practices.

Why does transparency matter so much to me? Because it is the foundation upon which meaningful connections are built and sustained. In the digital age, where the line between genuine and fabricated content is increasingly blurred, being transparent is both a commitment to integrity and a service to the community. It’s about being real and accessible, about showing up as you are, and about making decisions that can be understood and respected, even if they are not always agreed upon. In my journey as an entrepreneur, transparency has guided me to not only achieve professional success but also to create a company culture where honesty is celebrated, and every team member feels seen, heard, and valued. This principle has not only shaped my approach to business but has also deeply influenced my personal growth and relationships, underscoring the importance of living and leading with authenticity and purpose.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My work sits at the intersection of technology and real estate, a niche I carved out through my company, Replay Listings. What sets us apart is our commitment to transparency and honesty in the real estate market, particularly in New York City. We’ve pioneered the use of unedited video content to showcase properties, offering an authentic view that photos alone cannot provide. This approach not only democratizes information for renters and buyers but also streamlines the search process, saving time and reducing stress for all parties involved. I’m most proud of how we’ve managed to integrate technology to enhance human connections rather than replace them. Our platform empowers real estate professionals to build trust with their clients through transparency, which is a game-changer in an industry often criticized for its opacity.

Reaching this point in my career was far from easy. The journey involved countless challenges, from navigating the complexities of a new market to convincing stakeholders of the value of our innovative approach. There were moments of doubt and setbacks that tested my resolve. However, my belief in the potential of technology to transform the real estate industry kept me motivated. Overcoming these challenges required resilience, a willingness to learn continuously, and the ability to adapt quickly. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the power of perseverance. Every failure was a lesson in disguise, teaching me the importance of flexibility and the value of listening to feedback. I want the world to know that Replay Listings isn’t just a company; it’s a mission to make the real estate market more accessible and transparent. Our story is one of innovation, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of improvement, not just for our sake but for the benefit of the communities we serve.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting, I’d be thrilled to showcase the vibrancy and diversity of New York City, a place that has become my home and an endless source of inspiration. Our week-long adventure would be a curated blend of iconic sights, hidden gems, culinary adventures, and the electric energy of the city’s streets and parks.

We’d start with a walk through Madison Square Park, a small (but beautiful) green heart of Manhattan, to enjoy its serene landscapes that have been my back yard for almost ten years. This would be followed by a visit to the Fotografiska Museum- my favorite museum in NYC. A trip to New York wouldn’t be complete without witnessing a broadway show. Hamilton and &Juliet being amongst my absolute all-time favorites.

Culinary exploration would be key (I LOVE food,) from the historic eateries in the Lower East Side, like Katz’s Delicatessen, to modern gastronomic experiences such as Avra or Lady Bird (the latter being completely plant-based and delicious!) Evenings would be spent at rooftop bars overlooking the city, such as 230Fifth, great for visitors as it’s the biggest rooftop in NYC.

Throughout the week, we’d explore the unique boroughs of New York, each with its own character. A day in Queens for its incredible international cuisine, a stroll through the artistic streets of Bushwick, and perhaps a ferry ride to Staten Island or a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset.

This itinerary encapsulates the essence of New York City — its art, culture, food, and, most importantly, its ability to inspire and energize anyone who visits. It’s a city where every corner holds a story, every street a different world, making it the perfect backdrop for creating unforgettable memories with a friend or loved one.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Dedicating my shoutout is both a profound and delightful opportunity to acknowledge those who have been instrumental in my journey. The person at the forefront is my mother. Her unwavering dedication to her principles and her family has been a guiding light in my life. She taught me that success isn’t just measured by achievements or accolades but by the integrity, hard work, and compassion we bring to our daily lives.

Beyond my family, I extend my gratitude to my mentors and peers in the tech and real estate industries, whose insights and support have been invaluable. Frederick Kauber, one of my biggest mentors – whose advice given around a decade ago still resonates with me. Thank you very much, my friend.

Last but not least, books like “Emotional Intelligence 2.0” by Travis Bradberry and “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz have also shaped my perspective, offering profound wisdom on personal growth and professional leadership.

Each of these influences has contributed to my story, reminding me that our journeys are enriched by the people we meet and the knowledge we gain along the way. Their contribution to my life is a testament to the power of community, mentorship, and the continuous pursuit of growth.
