We had the good fortune of connecting with Rochelle Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rochelle, what role has risk played in your life or career?
“No Risk, No Reward!” Stepping into entrepreneurship is a risk in itself. You leave security and stability of a 9 to 5 to become self employed, no days off, risk of gaining or losing more than you left in secure employment. Entrepreneurship is not for those who fear taking risk or second guessing the decisions you MUST TAKE to gain something you never have before.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I majored in Psychology and Marketing. You have to know people to understand how to market to them. I found my niche by studying the minds of the business owners and pull out what their goals are and assist with realistically conveying their messages.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Im definitely not the social butterfly, my friends are normally the planners. I find my peace near the water, meditation and spas. Call me for a zencation!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
This is a no brainer for me. I’ll always say my sons. Raising children alone will motivate you in a way that I can not explain. I had 3 reasons why I had to achieve more than what I come from. I have an autistic son who I dedicated my brands name to his birthday 6.12.
