We had the good fortune of connecting with Ricky Gallart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ricky, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?

Happiness is a state of mind, something that we can choose no matter our circumstances. Regardless of what horrible situation you might find yourself in, you can always find something to be grateful for if you look hard enough.

There are many things in my life that I am grateful for. Two of these things are my wife, Natalie, and the community that has grown from my YouTube channel.
Natalie has been my rock throughout our 11 years of marriage. Sharing this time with her has brought me a lot of joy.

My community also brings me happiness! I am blessed to be able to interact with friends and spiritual enthusiasts around the world who share the same interests as I do.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

I use the Tarot as a tool for divination and enlightenment, and a way to reach into the subconscious. By interpreting the artwork and symbols on the cards, I help relay the information and guidance the Tarot shows me. Although every card in a tarot deck has a particular meaning, I rely on the images and my own intuition as well.

I am really proud of the 11,000 subscribers I have gained on YouTube and I am grateful for every single one of them.

The road to where I am now has been a long one. I got my first job working at Winn-Dixie when I was only 15 years old and I have held a total of 18 jobs since then. None of those jobs brought me any sense of purpose or fulfillment. However, every single one of those experiences taught me something valuable.

Starting a YouTube channel is not easy. It requires an investment of time, money, and energy without seeing any profits at first. Although progress remained steady, it was also slow. It requires a lot of patience, dedication, and effort. The feedback that I got from viewers was a huge motivator to keep going. I am very happy that I stuck with it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We moved to the suburbs of Atlanta about a year ago so we are still discovering new places all the time. One of our favorite activities is getting in the car and driving with no direction in mind which allows us to explore the area in a fun and spontaneous way. We also love walking in nature and exploring all the beautiful parks in the area. We recently went to Amicalola Falls State Park and we highly recommend it. Congratulations to the 2021 World Series Champions Atlanta Braves. Watching them play at Truist Park is at the top of any Atlanta itinerary.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

I may be the face of Tarot Magician on YouTube, but my wife, Natalie, has always been behind the scenes supporting our business. She has made this journey easier and a lot more fun. If it wasn’t for her love and support I would not have the success I am experiencing today.

I also want to give a special shoutout to all of my subscribers and followers on social media. Without them, there would be no Tarot Magician. Their words of kindness and encouragement are a huge motivation to keep going.
