We had the good fortune of connecting with Ricardo & Desiree Jaimes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ricardo & Desiree, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Different people have different interests in life. There are some people who like to manage things and they are excellent in that. While there are another bunch of people who like the whole idea of creating something from scratch and watch it grow and provide value to people, my family and myself I am of the second kind.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a local community Landscape and installation family business. We started our business with nothing in mind but the dream to be financially free in the years to come potentially leading us to create diverse employment opportunities for the community and the ones who need help. We strive day in and out for our business as a husband and wife duo raising a family of 6 we are 100 percent all in, our business is our life. It’s not easy but worth every minute. I suggest to my former small business owners that you all never give up. If something doesn’t work get up and try again. Reset, restart, unlearn relearn it’ll take you places you never thought you could go.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would love for friends and family to come to Atlanta, we would have no limits we would take there each and everywhere we could here in Atlanta, first we would stop downtown and hangout, and nothing but fine exploring from there.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank God, my children they gave us the push when there was no shove, my spouse who undoubtedly never gave up on me and our dreams and made sure we succeeded
