We had the good fortune of connecting with Rhonda Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rhonda, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Our thought process for starting our own business was to created generational wealth and to start a family business that can be passed down for generations to come.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Day & Night Exotic Cereal Bar, Atlanta specializes in serving exotic cereal bowls and shakes where we bring some unknown cereals from many different cities and countries as well as some childhood favorites. We were originally located within Atlantic Station however, we found that our specialty shakes are need throughout the Atlanta area. With that we decided to close that location a become mobile. Being a mobile cereal bar we are able to reach schools, festivals, camps, college campus as well as private events.

Our family have a love for cereal and that is what makes this career path work for us because we love to bring the city great treats that can be eaten day or night.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
While I do have a business in Atlanta I also still live in Ohio. I spend my time divided between both locations. However when I am in Atlanta and have free time; I enjoy eating at cirque because I love the seafood. I love walking through Atlantic Station to shop as well.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would have to say my oldest son Ty’Ron Parker (Co-Owner) was the driving force behind starting the business in the Atlanta area. He has always been very creative and if a people person. He brought the idea to me a couple years ago wanting to start a family business. He came with all the details and ideas. He is the face that oversees the day to day of Day & Night Exotic Cereal Bar, Atlanta
