We had the good fortune of connecting with Rhonda Anita and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rhonda, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process has always been working for myself. I have troubles with others caping my income and the optics in corporate American. Now, do I work for them from time to time. Yes, but as a contractor and I get the best situation for me and my family. I always loved the time freedom that I get for working for myself. When things don’t work for me I get angry with myself. My thoughts are the more I work for myself the more I can earn. The less I work for myself the less I earn.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Well, everything I do I try to do it in excellence. I often put other peoples needs before my own. I go over and beyond the call of duty even to my own determent. I live by the old rule of thumb “Do unto others as you would have them do to you”. Customer service is the first most important charge in my business. I love to see my supporters win.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My best friend is in Milwaukee, I have a full extended weekend planned. On Friday we enjoyed dinner at Hal’s in Buckhead, Saturday we went to a celebrity private engagement party followed by dinner at Two Urban Licks. Sunday we attended church and enjoyed dinner after service with the pastor and other members. Sunday night we decided on a good movie in Atlantic Station. Monday we had a spa day at Chateau’ Elan with lunch and a drive to my favorite mall Perimeter.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am super blessed. I have had some amazing Women of God in my Life and today I would like to acknowledge one in particular, Pastor Alexcius Branch (Dr. Lexy). She pushes me like no ones business. She has been through the fire and through the rain yet she still encourages and uplifts others to live the highest expression of themselves such as me.
