We had the good fortune of connecting with Reshaun Mccree and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi ReShaun, what do you attribute your success to?
Our most important behind Wingnuts success is our consistent production of chicken. Loyal customers are what keep us going. We have customers we have served for more than 10 years, and their continuous support has been the backbone of our growth. Their feedback and word-of-mouth have been instrumental in helping us refine our offerings and reach new audiences. Maintaining these relationships has allowed us to build a community that feels more like a family than just a customer base.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am most proud of the network of people I have met along the way of this journey. I am excited for our event platform that we are launching. We want to cater to big events. One lesson, that I have learned along the way is never burn a bridge. My new endeavor, Auntie’s Spot, is a new food truck concept I just became a part of. This project represents a fusion of my passion for diverse cuisines and my commitment to bringing people together through food. It’s a venture that has allowed me to innovate and explore new culinary horizons while continuing to serve the community I love.

For Wingnuts, we are focused on gaining back our customer base by community outreach and loyalty programs. We plan to engage more directly with our local community through events and partnerships, creating opportunities for people to reconnect with us. These initiatives are not just about boosting sales but about rebuilding the sense of trust and connection that has always been central to our success.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We recommend Wingnuts. For first timers, we recommend the 1/2 pound combo. Flavor wise, we would say a mixture Spicy and Crispy Cajun, and to top it off with a sweet tea. Can’t beat it.

All of it is straight flavor!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
April Ahn, the owner of Wingnuts. April showed me the business and everything I know. Her guidance and mentorship provided the foundation upon which I’ve built my career. Without her belief in me and her willingness to share her knowledge, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
