We had the good fortune of connecting with Renzo Verde and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Renzo, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I believe our business provides relief & relaxation in a hectic world. Our customers receive a great food, drink & music by local emerging artist (such as myself + business partner) and their favorite R&B classics. We have an illustrious paint class with accessories available to enhance the experience. I personally design our clothing merchandise through my apparel business, Fenix Studios. Whether it is music or apparel I have the opportunity to give our community a much needed relief and expression through art

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Since a child I’ve always indulged myself in the arts from visual art to film, photography, music or any medium to express my thoughts and feelings accurately. As a child visual arts such as drawing and painting we’re my first loves. As I grew, my appreciation for music and sound rose with my maturity. I eventually gained enough confidence to record and create music for myself. This journey became vital to who I am today, my career, and relationships, My visual art fascination also took a backseat but with my newest business – Herb n Colour I was able to inspire that adoration again, I’ve learned people’s opinions shouldn’t matter more than your opinion of your art. This is the same for business decisions & important to keep in mind the more successful you become. I want people to know the world can be saved through art because artists are truth seekers and healers. We want to heal our communities through art & entertainment and train the younger generation to have a healthier mindset in our lifetime. Acknowledging God in the process of it all.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely come by to Herb n Colour ! And Pregame Bar & Lounge. Also Kai’s & Kos in Marietta. As we grow & develop more relationships I’m sure we will have more of an itinerary for friends & family!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I think my friend & love interest Imani Divinity aka Noni Tree deserves a shoutout for her help beautifying the community
