We had the good fortune of connecting with Rennee’ Hubb Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rennee’, what inspires you?
Inspiring2live was started as a part of my healing process. I found myself hurting and trying to figure out what’s next. Within 45 days, I lost my grandfather, and 30 days to the day that my grandfather passed, my Granny passed away. While burying my Granny, we received news at the cemetery that my nephew Marcus wasn’t well and was on life support. At the same time, I was sitting outside the hospital, taking in the news that we had to decide Marcus. I received news that my niece was found deceased in her home. Through losing them, God gave me Inspiring 2 Live to provide daily messages to inspiring people. Inspire others by keeping their memory alive with Inspiring 2 Live, including Inspiring flashcards for kids and inspirational apparel.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Inspiring2Live is set apart because everything we do aims to lead people back to God. Our motto is Impact Over Popularity; we do not care about being popular; our prayer is to impact people’s lives truly. It wasn’t easy getting to this point. We had to overcome marketing challenges not having corporate backing. But we have favor with God. That favor opened doors for us. To be featured on Fox 5 News’s “The Good Word, Podcast with Tisha Lewis, and in multiple magazines.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am a history buff, and must-see is Martin Luther King Jr.’s home where he and three of his siblings were born. I genuinely believe seeing where he started and gaining an impact on where he ended will shape a lot of perspectives. Also, there are so many Soul Food restaurants and boutiques in ATL. You will need time to take in all of the sites.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My Shoutout goes to my children (Kaviona & Keyon), my sisters Sharitta and Robin, and my best friends (Malia and Angila, my spiritual best friend Carolyn (Nana), and Pastor Victor Furr. I honestly would not be where I am today without you all supporting and praying.
