Hi Renika, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my own business simply because I wanted to do what I love and never feel like I’m working another day in my life. When I’m making another woman beautiful it gives me Joy, I can take clients all day and not realize my feet hurt until I sit down at the end of the day! I also wanted to provide a nice environment with good energy for other ladies while we live in our passion as cosmetologist!

What should our readers know about your business?
Doll Face Beauty Bar is a full service salon located in Jonesboro Georgia. We offer a wide range of services from sewins, mircolinks, custom units, locs, silk press, nails, mircoblading, make up and lash extensions! We have highly skilled professionals to take care of everything you need to look and feel beautiful!

I am very proud of how far my business has come. Starting out it wasn’t easy at all. I knew I had a vision that I had to make come true. Paying for everything out of pocket being the only employee or even finding the right people wasn’t easy. I had days where I just wanted to give up but I just had to keep going, I knew my break was around the corner. And then thongs just kinda took off. I have wonder group of employees!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When my best friend visited for a week, one of my favorite places I took her was The Real Milk & Honey in College Park. Their food is really good. One of my other favorite places to take my friends when they visit is Fusions Sports Bar & Grill on Buffington rd. It’s always a nice atmosphere, never overly crowded and great service!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The person who has pushed me and believed in me the most is my Husband Marco Lewis! He has had my back no matter what and provided that extra push I need to keep reaching for my dreams! When things were hard and I want to give up he would let me. The other person who has played Major role in my business success is my Business coach Lee Campbell! She convinced me why I needed her and she hasn’t let me down yet. We meet weekly and talk about what I want to achieve and we come up with a planned and make it happen! Every goal we set, we knock it out!
