Hi Renata, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?

I am Brazilian, living for three and a half years in the Atlanta area. In Brazil, I practiced law for many years. In 2020, I made the decision to leave my country to build a story in pursuit of my better half, who was here. This tender love resulted in my blessed and happy marriage.

I am attorney in Brazil, and upon arriving in the USA, I initially considered practicing law for the local Brazilian community in cases pertaining to Brazil. However, with the onset of the global health crisis, I opted for entrepreneurship, entering the residenial cleaning .

This shift in my career path forced me to overcome various obstacles, broadening my horizons and allowing me to more deeply embrace local dynamics and customs. Thus, Anistell was born, offering cleaning services for both residential and commercial purposes. Our services go beyond dirt removal; they represent an opportunity to bring transformation and elevate energy in homes.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Anistell Cleaning is a company specialized in residential and commercial (small business) cleaning services. With a range of customized solutions and a commitment to provide a clean and sanitized environment. What sets us apart from many other cleaning companies is the fact that we have a trained team that ensures that every space in the house is thoroughly cleaned.
For us, what excites us most is the satisfaction of our clients, who receive a quality service that contributes to their well-being and comfort.
The path of someone starting a new business is not easy and it was no different for us, everything happened step by step.
And over time, I’ve learned some great lessons, such as: planning, knowing how to hire employees so as not to generate losses for the company, having emotional intelligence and being present in the digital environment.
And what I want most is to grow my business throughout the Atlanta region.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Like a good Brazilian, we like good food and good company. If my friend comes to spend a few days here, I would take him to eat at Taka Sushi&Passion and go out drinking at Gate City Brewing Company. Not to mention a delicious brunch at the Red Eyed Mule.
I’d also take him to see some local historic site, such as the Martin Luther King Museum, the Coca-Cola Museum, Marietta Square and tubing on the Chattahooche River, Stone Mountain and Goergia Aquarium.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate the recognition of all my hard work to the special people in my life, my husband Sergio and my son Lucas, they have consistently encouraged, guided, and propelled me forward in my career advancement.
