We had the good fortune of connecting with Refoni McCoy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Refoni, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
Nothing comes to a sleeper but a dream. My dad use to say that to me all the time. I say it now daily and it keeps me going and focused.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is called Planet Earth 404, and what sets us apart is we are strongly active in our community and focused on better health and better living for all. My dad worked for the railroad and also an entrepreneur. He and my mother owned restaurants a game room and property homes. It was not easy but I’ve had three restaurants over time with us and downs. My biggest lesson learned is that things get better each time. So I never charge things up as failures. My brand is to show we are all one, we are here all together on earth and our service is to love all as one. Our honey is the best on earth, that is our slogan “best honey on earth”.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would eat at c&s seafood, go to Sweat Houz sauna, shop at Phipps mall, hangout at Harold’s Chicken and Waffles in Edgewood.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My parents who are no longer here, my husband children and friends.
